Očekávání předčila vlídnost obsluhy a kvalita jídla - večeře byla zcela excelentní. A výhled z postele na hory i venkovní sprcha byly skvělé.

Swartberg Backpackers se nachází v Matjiesrivier na úpatí pohoří Swartberg a nabízí venkovní bazén a gril. Nabízí výhled na hory a vodopád a je vzdálen 45 km od Oudtshoornu. The thoughtfulness of the hosts was well beyond my expectations. My family enjoyed being there and out in nature to the utmost. The hike to the pool and the waterfalls are well worth the effort. We loved the interaction we had with the farm animals as well, had a nice conversation going with the sheep at a point in time 😄. On the morning of our departure a mother goose introduced her new batch of chicks to the world. That just crowned everything off. Thank you to our hosts for being amazing. I only have superlatives for the entire experience.

Blue Lily Retreat se nachází v Matjiesrivier, 20 km od přírodní rezervace Groot Swartberg a 16 km od vyhlídky Skelmdraai, a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a posezením. Lovely hosts, nice and clean rooms, very friendly and accommodating. We were able to use the “splash” pool as the guest’s pool is under construction. We cycled around the neighborhood and for cycling enthousiasts, there are some options around to test the pedals :-). Johan and Lieschen were really kind, they’ve made a reservation at the restaurant ‘Patat’ (3kms from where we were staying), we had a delicious diner with a nice view on the Swartberg mountains. We drove up the Swartbergpass, with some magnificent views as a result, only our car was not exactly made for it :-), an SUV is more suited to make it up and down those bumpy roads :-) highly recommended B&B!

Andrew the chef created the most divine dinners, and our picnic basket goodies were such a treat. Quinton was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable on our game drive his spotting ability is next level. Our host Chana made this our most memorable wedding anniversary - thank you guys it was absolutely awesome. A must for those wanting to rejuvenate the soul.

On arrival we were greeted by a wonderful dog and the welcoming greetings kept coming from the friendly staff. Our 9yo boy loved the play area and the farm animals. We were astounded at the attention to detail: from the plants in the garden, the decor in the restaurant, right down to the electrical plugs provided in the room.

The hospitality and service delivered was excellent, so sorry we only stayed one night, staff is well trained saw to all our needs and went the extra mile to make our stay fantastic, will definitely be back again

Me and my family loved everything about wilgewandel.The accommodation was outstanding nice neat, clean and very comfortable.We just want to say thank you very much we enjoyed our time at wilgewandel.We are definitely coming again 😉👍
