The location of the Empire building is fantastic. On the beachfront, lots of options for food and drinks and food delivery options. Secure underground parking is included! The views from the balcony makes the location top class. We took a surf lesson and it was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.NadjaGermany - 10

Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go. Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth. Surfers Corner specifically was a whole great vibe! A community on their own. I got to surf for the first time. People on surfers corner were friendly and open. Close enough to Checkers to buy groceries. A nice balance of food places and great places to buy swimming and surfing equipment.

Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world.
Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world. I have lived in four countries and travelled to many more. It has a charm that is unique. It’s location, how the mountain and the sea come together is stunningly beautiful. The beach has beautiful white sand. The coffee shops and restaurants are world class. The surf shops and the children learning to surf is great and special. Learning to surf will change their lives for the good. We love the Empire Cafe, Knead and many more places to eat. The old buildings that have been renovated give me great pleasure.

It has a lovely backyard with a beautiful wood table for outdoor meals and a large fire pit. The apartment itself is clean and spacious and exactly what my friends and I were looking for! I would say it looks even better in real life than it does in the pictures! There are even two bikes and a gym to use throughout your stay. Alexa does such a good job decorating and provides many helpful local recommendations. Would highly recommend !

There is a small oven with a stovetop, microwave, kettle, and air fryer. The location is perfect, walking distance from the famous surfer's corner area and you are right across the Muizenberg Park which is also the starting point for some mountain hiking trails. Remember to never hike alone.

The finishings are also lovely and both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner. We were so comfortable and relaxed in the apartment.
