Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, The Gong House offers accommodations in Muizenberg, 17 mi from Cape Town's city center. The upper floor veranda features views of the mountains and estuary. As I am the type of person who loves her sleep...the blankets and bed simply amazing...slept like a baby...And waking up to such a wonderful view could've asked for any better
Offering a year-round outdoor pool, A Heavenly View is set in Muizenberg in the Western Cape Region, 328 feet from Het Posthuys Museum. We loved our 3 nights here. The room was comfortable, well equipped and the location was perfect for heading to the beach. Suzette was a fantastic host.
Located on the water's edge of Sandvlei Lake, Admiralty B & B offers accommodations in Muizenberg and 5 minutes' drive from the beach. We absolutely loved the deck and the option to paddle boat across the canal. Muizenburg beach and Kalk bay make for interesting and peaceful excursions from the main city.
Set in the vibrant village of Muizenburg and equipped with a bar and BBQ facilities, The Muize offers bed & breakfast accommodations a stone's throw away from the beach. The homely feel was marvelous. It gets tiring staying in hotels constantly and this was completely different. Breakfast was eggcellent every morning and it was great meeting new people at the breakfast set up.
Surferscorner offers deluxe self-catering apartments along the long white sandy Muizenberg Beach. I had forgotten to tell the, I was arriving early, and they still got me into the apartmemt right away, and it was clean/ready to go. I also did not have a plug/oultlet adaptor that fit, and they provided one right away when I asked. Location near beach, surfing, surf shops, and restaurants.
Located in Muizenberg, a 17-minute walk from SAPS Museum and 0.9 miles from The Masque Theatre, Cape Capsules has accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views. The staff was super friendly and the location is just amazing. Really enjoyed myself here...
Located in Muizenberg and with SAPS Museum reachable within a 6-minute walk, The Amberley Annex provides express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and barbecue facilities.... The hosts was amazingly friendly and gave us the best of advice. They had a wonderful way of balancing between small talking and giving us privacy. Both of them were lovely and so kind. The annex was amazing. A spacious room with a really comfy bed and a good shower. The terrace was beautiful and gave us sun in the morning. It was close to everything and the small kitchen area with a fridge, a "cooking pan" , microwave and a toaster gave us the best opportunities to buy our groceries to make lovely breakfasts and snacks. It was easy to go to both Simon's Town and Cape Town by car (we went with uber). Z gave us the wonderful advice to walk down to Kalk Bay and yeah, lovely stroll along the water.
Muizenberg is known for surfing. Its an easy going atmosphere and family friendly. There are many nearby sites and attractions including Penguins at Boulders Beach...shopping and many other fun things.
This little hideaway is so close to the heart of Muizenberg we could have survived without a car. We loved walking on the beach and surfing in the waves just a short walk away. The choice of Restaurants made the week fly by. We recommend 'Blonde and Beard' for their early bird breakfast deal, 'Tigers Milk' pub for their craft beers and live music and a must - the Indian restaurant 'Bombay Chilli' for the best curry ever.
So much to do and see in beautiful Muizenberg: - Blue Bird garage on Fridays - Muizenberg Village has lots of cute stores and a community vibe - Great beach that's very popular with surfers - Many fun restaurant spots (Ta-Da's - and it has great free wifi; Primi; Knead; Tiger's Burger Bar; Yoffi's Falafel) - The St. James walk down to St. James tidal pool - Just a short walk from Kalk Bay - Kite-surfing on the lake (also a great place for walking)
It is so central to everything be is wine tasting in Stellenbosch or Chapmans Peak or having a cocktail at Cape To Cairo. Primi downstairs is great - Chris our waiter was awesome. Knead is a lovely place to have breakfast.
Muizenburg is great for surfing, if the conditions are right. There are some good restaurants and shops, but I wouldn't recommend Muizenberg for a long stay, because the city itself isn't something special.
Simon's town was charming , Cape of good hope is a must ...don't forget to stop at Black Marlin for lunch or dinner ( reservation is advise ) . Tiger's Milk is a great restaurant ( reservation is recommended ) wait time could be 1 h without reservation .... Breakfast at the Gary's Surf Cafe has heathy breakfast and delicious crepes .

The host went out his way to ensure I was well looked after and taken care off. It’s a large 2 bedroom flat key for even longer stays , I do recommend booking a few nights as the price is great and first class accommodation.
