Walkerbouts Inn has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Rhodes. I am a return visitor to Walkerbouts and always find it as an oasis in beautiful and remote Rhodes. Nice and comfortable room, nice pub, and homemade breakfast. Centrally located and very welcoming place.
Featuring pool views, Alpine Swift Trails High Altitude Training Facility in Rhodes features accommodations, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a shared lounge, a garden and a tennis... The friendliness of the Owners- Sunelle and Hilton, was excellent - we could not asked for better host than them. I would like to make use of this opportunity to wish them all the success and prosperity. I will make use of their accommodation with my next trip around The serenity of the mountain hut was out of this world. Hilton informed us about the attractions in the area and how to get there.
Featuring a restaurant, bar, garden and free WiFi, Rubicon Units is located in Rhodes, 14 mi from Tiffindell Ski resort and 656 feet from NG Kerk Rhodes. Beautiful location. the old school house was interesting and Elizma was very knowledgeable about Rhodes in general. Will definitely recommend Rubicon Inn to others.
Located in Rhodes, Amanzi Empilo Bungalow is a chalet boasting a barbecue. Offering free private parking, the chalet is 15 mi from Tiffindell Ski resort. Loved the peacefulness with the only noise being the sheep on the sides of the hill. Loved the rustic off the grid situation. The river was not running but my husband still managed to catch a small trout which he then released. We sucked up the fresh air and early night with no internet and no tv!
Located just 9.9 mi from Tiffindell Ski resort, Firefly Cottage features accommodations in Rhodes with access to a shared lounge, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. The cottage was better than I expected and is extremely comfortable with all the gadgets that you need to have a great stay.
I enjoyed traveling over the various mountain passes unfortunately our time was limited. I would definitely go back for a long weekend and spend time fishing, hiking, sight seeing and sampling the local foods and drinks in the area.
Pretty little town but the road is not great. Come in via Barkly East rather. Naudes Nek pass is harrowing and the road is really bad unless you have a 4x4. Took us hours to drive there! I can see why farmers in the area drive Toyota Landcruisers ...
We stayed at Tenahead which is beautifully situation. Wonderful views, stunning accommodation and five star food. Just sitting in one's bedroom looking into the countryside is food for one's soul. They have a very nice spa which is reasonably prices and I was fortunate to have a very professional full body massage from Grace who was delightful. The staff are all very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. We could have done with an extra day and driven up to Tiffendell and spent a day up there. The trip from Durban, with a lunch stop was 8 hours and a four by four is necessary from my perspective as the passes are slow and very rocky. A wonderful break.
