The staff from Reception, the Restaurant, the Bar, Cleaning crew were all truly AMAZING !!! (Super helpful, bent over backwards, polite and respectful) The location - a stones throw from the beach. The 2 swimming pools were great. Our room was spacious, bed and pillows were comfy, we asked for a mini bar fridge and it was delivered straight away. All amenities and the grounds were well looked after. I loved the bookshelf as I had forgotten my book. Pre booking a massage is a must !

Totally exceeded expectations! Facilities great, secure, clean, spacious, & comfy; aircon a lifesaver esp this time of year! Love pvt acces to beach + nature all around to enjoy daily. Just be mindful of the monkeys occasionally! Highly recommend to those who love nature & beach life, very peaceful stay. Would definitely book again if avail!

We loved absolutely everything about Ascot Manor! The entire house was just for us, which made the experience even more special. There are four spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom—either with a shower or a bathtub. The house itself is amazing: a huge sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a fantastic bar area perfect for socializing. There is also a grill area that made for a cozy evening. There’s a swimming pool surrounded by palm trees, giving the whole place a tropical, peaceful vibe—like a little paradise! The housekeeper stays in the cottage next door and is extremely kind, helpful and ever happy person. Highly recommended for bigger family or groups looking for comfort, space, and a touch of luxury.

The Thiseldoo home provided space for our group of five couples near aliwal shoal diving reefs. The home has a deck/patio facing the river and a pool with spaces to sun as well as relax in the shade when the Natal's heat get too much.

Beautiful place is calm has friendly people, ideal for elderly people not interested I'm fast life. Enjoy beach view but i felt it is not modernized simple small town not much happening. we did not visituch places due to very hot weather

So much to see and do in the area.

So much to see and do in the area. We stayed for just two days but got to spend time on the beach and were given a great tour of Crocworld. Also enjoyed the Spur up at the Mall and John Dory's Fish Grill on the beach with a fantastic view of the whole beach area. Great beach-wear shop on the beach too.

We enjoyed exploring the town and the beach.

We enjoyed exploring the town and the beach. The cottage was just right for us but the narrow stairs were challenging. We used the upstairs 'verandah ' to make the most of the Seaview and the braai. Favorite place was the restaurant in the caravan park; ideal for breakfast and watching the whales. The take away fish and chips from the Corner Fish and Chips was the best value for money. Next time I will avoid staircases.

Sadly Scottburgh is not what it used to be.

Sadly Scottburgh is not what it used to be. Like the rest of the Country it is badly run by the municipality and the neglect is showing. However, given the state of most of the coastal 'holiday' towns, Scottburgh is holding it's own.

Scottburgh beach is very quit, small beach.

Scottburgh beach is very quit, small beach. The water though is very sandy, not clear. There is a large high tide pool. What's a bit different and dossapointing compared to the other beaches close by is that there is not visible policing on the beach itself. There was a stop and check policing road block just before the beach. I also could not see any beach guides or life guards at 3pm. The pizza place Enzo pizzeria was absolutely amazing! We will visit again but traveling to other beaches with more to offer is at least 25/30km

Great beach, and family friendly.

Great beach, and family friendly. Shops are close by and and easy to access. The beach has on the ball life guards which is good for familes. Enzo's makes great pizza's. C breeze has a wonderful view and outside eating area.

The kitchen staff were really kind, they cooked porridge every morning for my infant because that's what she likes. They offered my children a waffle. We really felt welcomed, safe, well taken care off and well nourished. The hotel is very clean and the food is good. Cocktails are expensive but it's nice to sip them and relax near the infinity pool🥂😍

Peacehaven Beachfront offers excellent value for money in a prime location. The flat had all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, secure parking, WIFI, and easy beach access. It’s a great base from which to explore Scottburgh, and the tranquil seaside atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind.
