Wow! This is really the most special and beautiful place I`ve ever seen. The scenery is just unreal, the house itslef is decorated amazing, and everything is very high end. Tristyn and all the staff were really helpful with everything. The dinner was amazing as well. We came to these place by mistake but we will recommend everyone to come here.

We truly couldn’t have been happier with our experience here. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating (even though we made a very last minute booking!) the space was super cute and comfy, the garden is gorgeous and the very loving kitty was the cherry on top! We really enjoyed Sedgefield, the beaches are superb and Sedgefield is close to everything we wanted to explore in the area, we did the Knysna Parkrun and also hiked in the Knysna forest. I had fun searching for and photographing all the amazing mosaics in Sedgefield - this was an unexpected and fun 'treasure hunt', although I am sure I didn't find them all

Well the market on a Saturday is simply out of this world!

Well the market on a Saturday is simply out of this world! It really is something to experience. The little town is ideally located to beach and river access, and also within 20 - 30 mins drive to nearby Wilderness, George and Buffelsbaai. If a summer beach holiday is what you want - it doesn't get much better than this. Lovely shops to buy produce, (we got a self-catering place and enjoyed cooking in. But there are some nice coffee shops too. Myoli beach is stunning and there is a really nice restaurant called Pilipili ... I highly recommend this as a stop over for 5-7 days. We also enjoyed the cycling routes available.

Great place for a week end especially in summer.

Great place for a week end especially in summer. Adequate shops, coffee shops etc. Nice fish n chips, restaurants and lots of lovely places nearby like Wilderness Knysna etc. Lovely drives up the hills. Views beautiful, riding bikes fine. Walks to Gerickes point.

The number of bergies or street people hanging at the SPAR...

The number of bergies or street people hanging at the SPAR and surrounding area for the size of town was disconcerting. Nearly had an incident regarding the snatch of a cell phone. Wonderful little town with good restaurants and upkeep of paths and benches wonderful to see. Clear marking of dog friendly beaches helpful.

Sedgefield is a hidden gem, often overlooked by visitors to the Garden Route. Most people only visit the popular markets on Saturdays, but do not know about the spectacular beaches or the stunning river mouth and estuary. The town also offers excellent eateries with a variety of dietary choices. Overall, the town is also quite safe and not too touristy.

This is self-catering so breakfast is not included. We booked for 5 days and had a great time with my grandkids. They enjoyed canoeing on the river and walks and brought their bikes to explore and ride up and down the hill and in and around Sedgefield. The views from the top of the mountain are spectacular. There is a lot to do in Sedgefield and the beaches and rock pools are full of sea life. We brought our life jackets for the grandkids. The house has a great stoep and a nice braai area.

This was my second stay at Hubbs place and I am sure not my last. Hubbs Place is perfectly located in the heart of Sedgefield. It is close to all shops, the river, as well as the Saturday morning market. The house is spacious and feels a lot like home. There was absolutely nothing that we needed that was not provided for. A real bonus is the use of a single garage where one can house one's car or mountain bikes etc.

This place is wow! Renne was the best host so friendly and made us feel at home. Room was massive and bed super comfortable. Location is right on the lagoon and it’s warm to swim in. There’s bikes to rent, SUP etc which is so calming to use in the morning. Breakfast also so so good! We wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a must visit if you come to Sedgefield!

The property manager met us at the house and was very helpful, explaining everything and making sure we were comfortable. He was also available by phone to answer questions. The main bedroom and bathroom are absolutely gorgeous. Its a great place to stay in Sedgefield.
