We have been staying at the cottages for the last 8 years and have found the accommodation very comfortable. We have also befriended Jana who owns the cottages and we will always stay at the cottages when we return to Baviaans

The location of Duiwekloof Lodge is real hidden gem. We’ve stayed over a weekend in two separate lodges, both well equipped with lots of privacy (and enough hot water). In the main house, there is an option for fresh breakfast (very generous portions) and for stocking up for braai. On the property you can enter beautiful and maintained hiking trails. The personal was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back :)

The location is quite stunning although the access road is...

The location is quite stunning although the access road is quite difficult. The accommodation was excellent with the individual lodges set along a ridge with fantastic views. We took food for a braaie although the staff can provide pre-cooked food for heating up in the microwave. Breakfast was good and generous. The main lodge had copious facilities and there are several challenging trails in the vicinity. If you enjoy the solitude of the wild environment then this one is for you.
