The venue is excellent, located, the room and bathroom were great, and the staff went out of their way to assist where they could. The supper and breakfast were outstanding. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay over on route to Gauteng/Durban.

Cecile was connecting with us from the moment our booking was confirmed, till we departed. We felt taken care of. The Aloe cottage and farm are stunning. We went for a 6 km walk, with their little dashound acting as tourguide. This place is a real gem. Just off the highway but nestled in green rolling hills created a quiet tranquil place. The sound of frogs (very rare in the cities), birdlife and animals were just wonderful.

What an amazing stay we had (sadly only 1 night but will go back). Initially when we were driving on a service road, we got a bit nervous but in less than 2km we arrived in a little bit of heaven. Everything was exceptional. History was all around you and the view of the Drakensberg was amazing. The owners make you feel like you have known then for years and that you are family.
