Beautiful lodge with friendly staff and great facilities, the wifi is fast and the rooms all have airconditioning. Breakfast at Ann’s Kitchen that’s a lovely restaurant on site was divine and once again the staff was great. The Virgin Active gym is walking distance away and they do allow day visitors.

Vereeniging has good places to visit.

Vereeniging has good places to visit. The Three River Lodge and Villa with a swimming pool and a walking distance to Three River Square Shopping Mall. The Riviera on the Vaal Resort on the river banks of the Vaal River. Stable Internet connection, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good reception and well staffed room service in all these places

Vereeniging Town roads are dilapidated and the Town is...

Vereeniging Town roads are dilapidated and the Town is horrible with sewage running in the streets. However, Three Rivers and Vanderbijlpark offers wonderful attractions such as Emerald Casino and the Vaal Dam . There is wonderful nightlife out of Vereeniging. When you drive around Vereeniging be careful of smash and grab incidents at the robots.

The receptionist and staff are rude and arrogant.

The receptionist and staff are rude and arrogant. They refuse to issue me with a invoice and claim i must get it from Booking.com. I will not even recommend this property to my enemy. It was my worst experience ever with a Guest House. When i arrived to check in the receptionist was in a big argument with other guests about there booking and it was a total screaming match in front of me. Totally unprofessional !!!!!!!

I have stayed in the Vaal Triangle before, but visiting as a guest this time was a wonderful experience. The region offers fantastic opportunities for water sports, while Three Rivers stands out as a vibrant hub for shopping and dining. Emerald Casino provides entertainment and fun, and the nightlife in Kasi areas like Sebokeng and Sharpeville adds to the energy of the place. However, Vereeniging Town presents a challenge due to poor maintenance, with litter and potholes detracting from the experience. On a more positive note, the area around Riviera Hotel is an excellent destination for a great dinner, complemented by serene views of the Vaal River.

The fact that all resturants close early is big downfall...

The fact that all resturants close early is big downfall expecialy those that deliver food.I had to walk to a garage to buy food only to find pies.We bought 4 but when got to our place we found 3 in the bag.😭

Vereeniging is an old mining town and has a lot of history.

Vereeniging is an old mining town and has a lot of history. This is a lovely place to visit if you enjoy the history of towns. I especially enjoyed the boat cruise and seeing the old water pump and the clubhouse and the areas where the old mining houses were. The history of the hotel was fascinating for me. Love Vereeniging.

New, clean, not in busy area, white bedding, enough cupboard space, WiFi, long mirror in well lit area, and the aggregate outside wasn’t horrible to walk through and it didn’t ruin my shoes. And hand wash by the basin. I liked having a microwave too. Fridge was good quality not the usual not really cold hotel fridge, ice did really freeze and our food in good condition.
