CanadaMy husband and I enjoyed a very pleasant week in the summer cottage at Q Estate. Squeaky clean and well kitted out! Our week was hot and humid but the cottage had a/c and a lovely screened in porch plus swimming off the dock to help us beat the heat. The hosts, who live on the property, were very eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay but they respected our privacy as well.
There is lots to see and do in the area. Westport is a charming little town, Foley Mountain Conservation Area has some nice hiking trails and there is the Rideau Canal Waterway to explore as well. So with a nice place to stay and things to do besides just relaxing, it meant for a very good holiday.
