This was a wonderful stay for us. I can't imagine finding a better place. The host is a lovely person who answered all our questions in a timely manner. With her help we were able to download an app for free use of the city mass transportation. She welcomed us personally after our arrival and provided us with valuable information during our stay. One of the best aspects of the accommodation was the fact that it offered parking. I was nervous about driving in Switzerland, so it was nice to leave the car and use the bus or tram. (The Chalet in Bern is just minutes from several tram and bus stops. ) We had essentially the entire first floor of a beautiful, one-hundred year old wooden home. The rooms were extremely comfortable, spacious, and quiet. The kitchen could not have been better. It had literally EVERYTHING we needed. We travel a lot. I like to cook in, but we usually find something missing when I try to prepare meals, whether it be a frying pan or a colander. This was not the case here! The host had everything we needed on hand, and everything was in excellent condition. The kitchen was spacious too; it was very easy to maneuver and had a breakfast table in addition to a larger dinner table in the living/dining room. We plan to return to Bern and hope to stay here once again.

The charming little house is located in an idyllic countryside village, but the bustling centre of Bern is only a few minutes away (by car or bus, obviously). The interior of this cosy historical home is rustic & full of old world charm — while at the same time being spotlessly clean. I’m really quite exacting about hygiene, and there was nothing that didn’t meet my expectations. Everything was super clean & and well-maintained! The hostess was also very friendly and easy to communicate with. I really wish every holiday home were on this level. We absolutely loved everything about our stay here, and would book it again in a heartbeat!

La casa de Anne es increible. Mi marido, yo y mis tres hijos (16. 14 & 11) nos hospedamos dos noches en su casa. Una experiencia completamente diferente, una tipica granja con todas las comodidades de una casa moderna. La casa esta impecablemente limpia y ordenada, se nota el cuidado en los detalles. El entorno es maravilloso y caminar por los alrededores es un paseo en si mismo. La casa esta a solo 15 minutos del centro de Berna en auto y a una hora de varios otros puntos turisticos. Anne & Andy son muy buenos anfitriones y nuestra estadia fue maravillosa. Luego de ir se entiende porque tiene tan buenso ratings
