A truly special place. After a full day of hiking, it was perfect to arrive at this charming accommodation just about 15 minutes’ drive away. It has a very cozy, home-like atmosphere, it felt almost like visiting family. The host was incredibly kind, and in the morning she prepared a delicious homemade breakfast that we enjoyed on the small terrace. Overall, a really lovely experience.

We stayed here for two nights during the Almond Blossom Festival in Tejeda. We had a great stay here. The unit is beautiful, San Mateo is very charming, and there is a great bakery directly across the street. We had dinner twice as Tasco Baco — highly recommend. We stayed here the beginning of February and were not cold like others mentioned.

The house is set high up in the mountains in an outstandingly beautiful and remote area with incredible views. Parking is on the road nearby and the house is accessed via a very steep path. We are fit and healthy but this was still tricky with suitcases. The house and view are totally worth the struggle when you arrive though! The house is fantastically equipped, the bed very comfortable and the outside area very pretty with chairs, tables, sun beds, bbq and pizza/bread oven. There is heating throughout the house and plenty of hot water for showers.The owner was very attentive when we needed help. There is no mobile signal in the area but the house has WiFi connection. There are 3 cave restaurants all within walking distance nearby with friendly staff and very well priced menus. We walked from the house into the hills and enjoyed incredible views. We would stay again without a doubt.

The house is amazing, spacious for larger family or groups, everything you can think of is there for you to use. We loved the rooftop terrace with lounge furniture and bbq, beautiful views and proximity to the city, golf, shops and restaurants. Juan our host was always in touch and asking if we need anything but we had everything we needed😍 Comfortable beds, smart TVs, fast WIFI, all kitchen equipment including nice coffee machine - just perfect. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!
