Best place we stayed in Lapland overlooking the Tanna River with Norway across the river on the other side. Beautiful secluded cabin for a perfect family getaway. Stairs right down to the raging river. HOT sauna house cabin next to the main cabin was just fabulous

We loved loved that we got to have our own private flowing waterfront, wooden sauna, and the grassy clearing where I could just lay down and forget about everything. The hosts are very kind and everything in the cottage has been placed with care and attention to detail. We were also lucky to have really good weather! I wish we could stay longer :)

Lomatarrpi was one of the best accommodations I ever had. The landlord and host -Juha is a very pleasant, kind and helpful person -he made our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. The location was excellent - away from the town - walkable distance to the town though. The cottage was heated, with a private sauna and well furnished. The "Aurora Tower" was icing in the cake. Overall a very memorable stay Highly recommended.

One of the best places i've ever stayed at! A little cabin right next to the river, far away from everything, with reindeers right outside your front door. The cabin was very comfortable with a fireplace, a woodfire stove and a good sofa bed. There is a great private sauna as well (and you can dip in the river afterwards if you're brave). No running water but the hosts left sufficient supply for our stay. I would 100% recommend and the hosts were lovely.

The cottage is situated outside the village of Utsjoki, near a river, that was frozen. It was well equipped with a fireplace and a sauna. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was a tower to look for the Northern lights and we were lucky to see magnificent auroras.

The cabin was perfect, clean,cosy & with everything I needed for the stay . Juha was the perfect host ,checking to make sure I didn't need anything else, talking to me about their reindeer & all done with a smile.

Easy access to Norway, great viewpoint for northern lights from inside the cabin and from the viewing tower. Free use of the kota for outdoor cooking, free use of the snow gear and equipment. We had everything in the kitchen we needed, more than enough wood for the fireplace, smart TV, sauna and washing machine. Beds were comfortable and the cabin is private Owners were very helpful throughout our stay and your definitely visit their craft store for souvenirs to take home
