Cottages in Hósvík

Loved being right on the water. Very spacious, clean and peaceful. Beds are comfortable. Not a lot of restaurants and such right in Hvalvík, but there is a gas station, Bonus supermarket and a few restaurants across the bridge. We highly recommend Rose's Restaurant. Make a reservation! Vert provides a nice thorough link to an app that has all your stay/check-in instructions in it. Very helpful. There is a detailed list of things to do upon checkout. If you don't do some, there are fines attached. But they are pretty much common sense and nothing over the top.

This house has amazing views and is in convenient location to explore many sights in the Faroe Islands. Its a very peaceful place. The house has all amenities one could wish for. No restaurants nearby, but this is not unusual for many locations in the Faroes. The kitchen is very well stocked for self-catering. The host was very responsive and proactive with communication. Would recommend.

Amazing location, stunning views and convenient access to all parts of the faroes. Hiking trails direct from house. Cosy interior with practical spaces eg for washing and drying clothes.

Very nice house with everything new and super clean. The view is amazing and it has unblocked sea view from windows of living room, dining room and master bedroom.

Location was excellent, view was gorgeous. It was very comfortable for 2 people. There was a bed we could stay in together, from pictures it looked like only single beds.

The house is beautiful and well located (center of the faroes), northern lights can in november becseen from the balcony.

The view from the house is amazing. It’s clean, comfortable, and quiet! The host has prepared every detail with great thoughtfulness — truly appreciated!
