We stayed five nights and wished we could have stayed longer as there's plenty to see and do in the area and the gite made an excellent base from which to explore. It's clean, smart and modern with every facility you could wish for. There is also small courtyard garden exclusively for guests. The owners live adjacent and are never intrusive but always available if needed. The place offers a unique experience as works of art by the owner are displayed throughout the property and his workshop and studio are next door. It has been a delightful and fascinating place to stay and we hope to return soon.

We arrived to the house late and after a rather stressful drive. Not only was the host kind enough to accommodate our constantly delayed schedule, when we arrived, tired and thirsty, he was waiting for us with cold water and beer. He was very friendly and helpful, and even though he hardly speaks any English and I hardly speak any French, we managed to communicate just fine. The house was just amazing; spacious, fully equipped and furnished. There was everything we needed and much more. Everything was very clean, in working order and ready for use. There was even a pool table, a darts set, games for children and a barbecue in the garden. I would definitely recommend this to families traveling with children of all ages and/or pets. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with a couple single beds and another with a double bed, 2 toilets and a separate bathroom, so it can easily accommodate an average family quite easily. During our stay at least, it was also very quiet.

Excellent accommodation in every possible way! Communication from the host was perfect, very thorough and detailed information. The apartment was everything that we needed and more than we hoped for. The price actually seemed a bit low for what it was for, particularly in comparison to a lot of the other places we have stayed at. Lovely apartment, very easy to locate and access out of hours. Really homely with personal touches. Can totally recommend. We will definitely be booking again as it's so handy for early departure from ferry terminals. We left an extra payment of 25€ for the cleaning lady. Although we cleaned up after ourselves I still felt that she deserved further reimbursement for her efforts. It was really apparent that she took a great deal of care and attention in her work.

Very nice, clean, well equipped accomodation, friendly owner. The garage with the washing machine was not accessible. We asked for it and the owner would be willing to come and open, but it was too late for us to use. It's only a minor hiccup thought! :)

The host was very communicative and flexible. The place was cool and in a good location. Very nice bathroom, towels were fine. Kitchen was amazingly well-equipped.
