Cottages in Ampleforth

Self catering but the property had a very well equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking.

We had an amazing stay in the Oku pod over New Year's Eve. It was more spacious than we expected, and the log burner kept us nice and warm despite the cold night - a generous amount of wood was provided and there are more stocks available to buy at a small log-shed nearby. The hot tub was such a treat, and the view over the fields from the tub is just gorgeous. Also, Laura and Ben were very communicative and helpful throughout. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. Perfect for a couple's getaway.

A wonderful setting, perfect for an 'off grid' getaway. Everything we needed and the communication from the owners were amazing.

Excellent location on the street front...free parking at the back of the property...beds where so comfortable..large spacious rooms

Great location, lovely clean and comfortable

This was a last minute booking because of an unexpected change of plans and I was very lucky the Garden Cottage was available. So comfortable, beautifully decorated and in a prime location in lovely Helmsley. The owners Louise and Richard were incredibly helpful and I was very grateful. Thanks for everything!

This train was wonderful, better than any boring hotel room. It had lots of quirky this about and never shook once in the high winds and storm we had. It's also a very good location for helmsley Town.

Lovely cottage. Modern and quirky at the same time. Great location for local walks, pubs and close to lots of nearby towns

Welcome pack, lovely 😍 with quality food items, especially the Yorkshire Parkin 😋. Very nice back garden. Well equipped kitchen with lots of teatowels and washing up liquid, etc. Very useful utility room. Spacious rooms. Downstairs and upstairs bathroom with first-rate walk-in shower . Very clean property. Plenty of towels. Children's stairgate came in handy. Nice decor and extremely comfortable 👌.

Lovely old cottage with everything you’d need.
