Self Catering Accommodation in Ampleforth

Self catering but the property had a very well equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking.

Location was excellent for cycling and local tourist towns. The apartment had everything we needed. it was nice that our host left fresh bread, milk and jam to get us stsrted.

Location was fantastic, perfect for what we needed. Cosy, warm and inviting

Excellent location on the street front...free parking at the back of the property...beds where so comfortable..large spacious rooms

Great location, lovely clean and comfortable

This was a last minute booking because of an unexpected change of plans and I was very lucky the Garden Cottage was available. So comfortable, beautifully decorated and in a prime location in lovely Helmsley. The owners Louise and Richard were incredibly helpful and I was very grateful. Thanks for everything!

This train was wonderful, better than any boring hotel room. It had lots of quirky this about and never shook once in the high winds and storm we had. It's also a very good location for helmsley Town.

We would give this place a 12 out of 10 if possible! Alison was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome, even giving us a ride to the starting point of our walk. The annexe itself is lovely with the most comfortable bed we've slept in for ages! There's a well-furnished kitchen, a beautiful garden and overall every detail has clearly been given attention. The perfect stay!

Lovely cottage. Modern and quirky at the same time. Great location for local walks, pubs and close to lots of nearby towns

Lovely old cottage with everything you’d need.

Cosy cottage in a lovely village - perfect for exploring North Yorkshire.

Beautiful converted barn style accommodation. Immaculately clean in a quiet location. Small towns nearby with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. About 30-40min to York. Host couldn’t be nicer and more helpful.

Beautiful rural location in a very quiet and peaceful village. Lawns Cottage is perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay with everything you need for a home away from home. We particularly loved the very generous welcome gifts and the super fluffy towels!

A very clean and stylist property, everything you need for a few days away , that’s welcoming for family’s too.
