Homely, fully equipped - everything you could think of. Fully enclosed garden and seating, perfect for my kids and dog. Plenty of parking too. Beautiful area, 5 minutes in the car to Kirby Stephen where there is a large Coop and various take aways/restaurants. 15 mins to Appleby where you can go swimming and lots of lovely cafes and super cheap charity shops to ratch about in. Thanks to Suzy for the prosecco and welcome treats, such a lovely idea. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return sometime.

Such amazing attention to detail. The property had so many extra’s. We loved the boot room and the kitchen had everything and more than we needed. The village pub was warm and welcoming with excellent food. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We had an amazing, relaxing week.

It was the sweetest cottage ever! Perfect place for a quiet retreat. Very comfortable beds. I usually need to put a quilt under me due to arthritis but I didn't need to at Linden Lea. :)

Lovely base for me and my dad to do our next leg of the penine way. Loved the lil dogy pamper pack and the enclosed yard made it a very easy stay with dog.

A quirky but beautifully converted cow-shed that is ideal for a solo visitor or a couple. It is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is far enough from town to feel in the middle of nowhere whilst close enough for shopping, etc. The wood-burner keeps the place warm although I never felt it was that cold anyway even in early November. Some good walking from the front door and easy driving to other attractions in the North Dales. would be very happy to stay here again if visiting the area.

Perfect location, lovely cottage. Lots of space. A great getaway for us (couple in our 50s), my parents (70s) and my in-laws (80s). Enjoyed the cafes, bars and restaurants.

From the welcome basket of goodies to the helpful recommendations for local activities, your kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated. Overall, our stay at Redmayne House was truly unforgettable. It's clear that you take great pride in your property and in providing a top-notch experience for your guests.
