Beautiful , magical , fairy tale cottage in a lovely very quiet Cornish village. Large garden with outdoor seating and lovely views of the river. Apple tree, sundial ,trees rustling in the breeze , an ideal place to sit and dream, and think of those who lived there over the last four hundred years. Loads of books and a piano which I enjoyed playing. Everything one needs regarding mod cons ,as well as many curios which belonged to the owner’s family . Good heating system, log fire , plenty of hot water. Generous provision of cleaning stuff , towels etc. Very kind and helpful host and local helpers. , great communication. Nice riverside pub with lots of outdoor seating , like most of the Cornish people we met and have met in the past , friendly and welcoming staff. Easiest way to shop was the butcher’s and the the Village Shop in Twyandreath, even if you can’t pronounce it, and an excellent fish, fruit and veg shop . Richards in Par . l

The property is so cute and lovely very well thought out inside comfy bed lovely hot shower good facilities. Lovely to find milk and water in the fridge and croissant in the freezer. Tea coffee and sugar available too, as I was only staying one night it was lovely to have all the essentials! parking just down the hill very convenient.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village with access to fields and walks from the cottage. Exceptionally well kitted kitchen. There is a separate toilet as well as the bathroom which proved useful. The 2 double rooms are downstairs and the twin room upstairs but separated from the living area by the stairs. The layout worked really well for us. It's possible to walk to the local pub (about 10 mins) but it's a climb coming back, although worth it! Wifi was very good. We didn't use the TV.

The property was exactly as described. Very peaceful rural location. Colin the owner greeted us on arrival and was very pleasant and helpful.. All perfect.

Aside the amazing location, the boat house was comfortable and cosy. Having wonderfully large windows to enjoy incredible views. Lovely garden to sit and watch the birds come and go Across the estuary. Well located for great things to do. We didn’t want to leave
