The property itself is truly magnificent. The garden is a true highlight, with its well-manicured lawns, beautiful flowers, and ample space for outdoor activities. It was the perfect setting for our Easter egg hunt, and my children were thrilled to explore every inch of it. The interior of the house is just as impressive, with its numerous rooms and endless charm. My children were particularly fond of playing hide and seek throughout the house, and we all appreciated the comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. But beyond the physical beauty of the property, what truly set our stay apart was the warmth and hospitality of the host. Your attention to detail and thoughtful touches made us feel right at home, and we appreciated your willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. From the welcome basket of goodies to the helpful recommendations for local activities, your kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated. Me and my family absolutely loved staying at Millbrook Lodge. The house was really cosy, in the most beautiful setting. Waking up to the sounds of the Brook was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the working week. Even my dog felt spoilt with her treats on arrival! We spent the weekend on long walks, and then cosied up in the cinema room for an evening of films and hot chocolates. The kids in particular really loved the pool table and we genuinely found the house to be a hub of spending quality time with one another. We will be recommending to our friends and family!

Lovely hosts, very helpful in many ways. The property is well maintained, clean, larger than it looks, great outdoor area, comfortable beds.

Beautifully finished lodge with very friendly hosts. Bed was super comfy and impossible to get out of in the morning! Cute wee basket of goodies (homemade sticky toffee pudding and local tea and coffee) left for us. Nice added touch with the bath tub outside and bbq area overlooking beautiful views. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at Mill Cottage. It's location was just perfect for exploring the Lake District and just taking time to relax on holiday. The cottage was beautiful, homely and has everything you need. We enjoyed learning how to use the Aga and comfy evenings by the fire. Our hosts Logan and Jeanie are just lovely and without their local knowledge we wouldn't have visited some of the places we did. We would 100% book to stay again
