We are on a Lands End to John O’Groats cycling trip and took a two night one day rest stop in Lanark. One the whole trip this was one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at. It was clean and someone has paid real attention to detail down to having a little welcome basket. Washington machine and kitchen facilities had everything we needed and were in good condition. I don’t do many reviews but this property was definitely above average and worth commenting on positively.

We loved that it felt homely. That it was very spacious and decorated lovely. The fire was a bonus on the evenings. The location was great for lots of nice food and lovely little villages and country drives. The kitchen was stocked very well with useful items and the bathroom was very clean. My children loved the toys and garden and play area just around the corner. The owners were very helpful.
