Very clean and nice decor. The beds were comfortable and warm, all the lamps worked, and the bathroom was huge and very nice. Good shower, soft towels. Nice pops of colour throughout with colourful rugs and cushions which made it feel homey. Fantastic loft room with en suite toilet. Only 10 mins into town, close to the canal and a Co-op supermarket about 5 mins walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was well equipped with everything you would expect. The little garden was nice to sit out in the evening time. We found the bed comfy with nice cotton covers. We were in contact with the owner about general information, Leigh was very helpful with immediate response to my messages, Excellent service. The property is in an excellent location and looks from the outside to be not much. As soon as you walk in you realise what a gem of a home it is. A perfect layout and stay for two families to enjoy. Comfortable and quirky with lovely home from home touches. We enjoyed the log burners in the evening and we had all the amenities we needed for a group of 7 ageing 3-65 years of age! We will definitely be back. The only fault we found was that our car a Volvo was too low to get onto the steep slope at the beginning of the drive. Luckily we found a spot to park for two nights by talking to the shop keepers nearby.
