Cottages in Penrith

What a fabulous cottage! This cosy property had everything we needed for the perfect getaway. We would highly recommend.

The balcony, the view was beautiful. It was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were spacious. It was a well equipped apartment with everything you might need. The owners were responsive, friendly and helpful.

Really lovely property and great location, can't recommend this place enough

Joiners cottage is a hidden gem in Penrith town centre. The cottage is very very clean and it’s been renovated to a modern style but still has some original beams and it’s all nicely furnished with comfy sofas, super comfy beds and bedding and it’s warm and cosy which is just what we needed during a cold spell in May. There are lots of good food shops in Penrith and we visited Cranstons food hall on the outskirts of town and bought some lovely lamb that we cooked in the cottage kitchen no problem plenty of kitchenware. The cottage location couldn’t be better for us, two minutes walk to the town and lots of pubs, bars and restaurants and two minutes walk to the bus station where we caught a bus to Keswick. Good communication from Sarah the host and she recommended places to eat and drink which we found very easily. Joiners cottage was a perfect relaxing stay for us and we’d love to return soon.

The location is beautiful, very good value for money, convenient parking, clean and well presented.

Excellent facilities, spotless really lovely comfortable furnishings.

Everything was excellent; the property was extremely clean and safe. The host welcomed us warmly and lives nearby, providing immediate and cooperative assistance if any issues arise. The property has all necessary amenities, but having a car is recommended for groceries, as the nearest shop is about 1 km away. I like more there garden, kitchen and living room

Brilliant house, very big with everything you need for a great stay

The hot tub was a great amenity, it was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Blackout shades in 2/3 bedrooms. Host was responsive and kind.

Absolutely nothing. This was the dirtiest and poorest quality accommodation I have ever stayed in. There are absolutely no redeeming features to recommend this awful property, even leaving the property is dangerous, with a blind view of oncoming traffic from the right.

Location was great and the property is snug and cozy
