This is a fantastic villa. Great location to explore the island inland to the south or west towards Chania. The town itself is lovely. The villa is perfectly situated, walking distance from the beach and the town with all the shops and tavernas. Great amenities for home cooking. Clean. Great hosts with many good tips for restaurants and nearby activities.

The villa was very spacious with modern amenities. There was plenty of space for us, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The garden was very large with plenty of shade and the pool was perfect for a refreshing dip. Yiannis was a perfect host, who had all the time to provide some great tips and advice. He was also always on hand for questions if required. The villa is situated in a very small village with no shops, just a restaurant that only opens in the weekend. It is very quiet, if you want to get away from the mad rush of everyday life, this is perfect for you. You do need a car, and within 20 minutes you can visit many beaches, villages and restaurants. Our favourite place to relax was the Salty Goat, with is a beach bar along the Episkopi beach, here 2x sunbed with parasol costs €10. You can also visit club paradise which is on the same beach a little closer to the villa, beds are free as long as you purchase something from the bar. Trips to Lake kournas to see turtles swimming in the lake, hire a peddle boat for an hour to see the turtles. Also Big Waterfall is worth a visit, take note that the water is freezing cold. Chania is also accessible along with a day trip to Balos Beach in the north or Skinaria beach in the south.

It’s such a peaceful and welcoming place, with a beautiful pool, a lovely yard, and a cozy barbecue area. But what truly made our stay special were the wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond—when we arrived, a fridge full of food was already waiting for us, so we didn’t have to worry about shopping right away. Every detail was thought of, and everything not only met but truly exceeded our expectations!

The property was absolutely stunning! Each space was so comfortable for our family of 6! There were air conditioning units in each room that made our stay so comfortable during the heat of the day, and the pool was the nicest we have enjoyed in Crete!

Fantastic stay. Liked the pool, jacuzzi and the different places to either find or escape the sun. I recommend this place to anyone.

Loved Kares Dream House !!!We didn’t want to leave !. We will try to come back next year if possible . The house is extremely clean . Te best of all was that we felt so welcome , we were treated to the most delicious Greek sweets and special food by the owner’s mother , a beautiful person !!! This eas worth so much !! The location is a bit far ,but staying at Karens hoyse allowed us to go to be most amazing beachesand at the same time enjoy the real Greek hospitality and mountain life !!!

Highly recommend! The house is spacious and welll set up for two families to share. We had plenty of room for seven people. It is very clean and well-cared for. The pool is large with a great mountain view. We loved walking into Armenoi for groceries, meals, and coffee. Easy to cook in the well-appointed kitchen. Easy five minute drive to Kalyves for lovely beaches and restaurants.
