I was doing a trail race in Dunlewey so this house was the perfect base. And 2 pubs at the end of the back garden path. Literally a 30 second walk. Couldn't have been a better location. Tessie's only takes cash though. Leo's Tavern does food. Spacious and lots provided as well as a lovely handwritten welcome note and some goodies and fresh milk etc which was appreciated. I don't think there was anything we needed. Didn't meet the host but they were available to contact if needed. Clear instructions left for what needed them.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic countryside setting, perfect to relax and recharge the batteries. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to cater for a family. Two very nicely decorated bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. A nice sized kitchen with a comfortable sitting room/T.V area. Lovely garden area for kids to play in if the weather is good. We found it to be a good base to explore the surrounding area, Donegal town around a ten minute drive away. The host was very nice and attentive, we would return again and have recommended to family and friends.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place 💕 The host Sarah was such a pleasure to deal with. After booking I got a message from her(which I’ve never got before) to ask if there was anything she could do or help with for our stay! When I asked what time we had to check out at and normally it’s 11 but she let us stay on till 12 ☺️ The house was so clean and on arrival she had a note to welcome us to the house and some goodies that we enjoyed with our tea ☕️🍪 The location of the property was perfect, literally 2 min walk from the centre of the town! I have stayed in quite a few places and this by far beats them all 💕 I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK 🥰

As soon as we arrived at the cottage we felt ourselves relax, very comfortable and had everything we needed with the added bonus of the hot tub, especially welcome after a long day discovering parts of the Wild Atlantic Way, stunning scenery. We brought our dog Reuben and he settled in immediately. Welcome box full of treats was a lovely thought 😊

The cottage is surrounded by pretty scenery and fields of sheep. We could see sheep up close and personal from our kitchen window. The shed on the property contained everything needed to light a fire in the fireplace. Very quiet, peaceful, and cozy!
