We had our best family holiday, the cottage had everything we needed. It was charming and cosy, set in the beautiful Irish countryside. The location was great because it was a perfect starting point to tour around Conemmara. Everything was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the personal touches like the fire lit on our arrival, cookies and freshly cut flowers. Thank you for everything! We already want to come back.

We had a great week in Jackie’s house. It’s was clean, comfortable, spacious and very well kept. The view of the lake from the back of the house was lovely, even on a rainy day. It was in a great location for visiting the sights in Galway and was less than 45 minutes drive to everywhere we visited - Clifden, Salthill, Spiddal, Cong, Kylemore Abbey, Wildlands Activity Centre. It is a short drive into Oughterard village which has shops, cafes and pubs. We enjoyed a meal in Powers Thatch pub and loved the pastries and coffee from Sullivans Country Grocer. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lakeside House. Jackie was a very responsive host and gave great advice and help when I messaged her.
