THE VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING. Definitely worth the steps and the climb to the top. We spent many an hour enjoying the views. And when we weren’t on the balcony we were exploring the streets of the Medina. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops and markets. Our accommodation was lovely with all the comfort you need and a delicious simple breakfast set out for us in our kitchen/dining area.

The Dar was roomy - for one or two couples and well positioned in a quiet area of the Kasbah. The view from the roof was very nice. Beds were also comfy and good storage.

This is a beautiful villa, although only the bottom half is included in the rental, but with two bedroom, a huge lounge, spacious kitchen, two bathrooms and a massive garden area by the river, it was more than enough. The host and his wife were super-friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I had a problem with a car tyre & he kindly arranged for someone to come and help us. The beds are firm and very comfy, there is a large screen TV with satellite enabled in the lounge, which was really useful on the rainy days. There is ample parking in the driveway behind the safe gated front area, a huge patio out the back and a sheltered patio with seating in the front, all secluded from view, the kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, coffee percolator, gas range and good hot water. The garden is mostly wild, allowing for a diverse range of flowers & pollinators, the river runs along the bottom of it, but there are reeds so it is not accessible, but there's a wonderful symphony of sounds from the birds & animals at night. The location is great, midway between Ksar es-Seghir town and Tangiers, but extremely rural, with lots of domestic animals around and a couple of mini-markets just up the road, selling all the essentials. The long beautiful beach of Oued Alian is just 5 minutes away and well worth a day out for a swim, also the Medina of Tetouan is just an hour south, with it's incredible Souk (street Markets) a must see! The people, we found to be incredibly friendly, generous and willing to chat, help and guide, these are simple country folk who value friendship and are ever willing to give anything they have.

Nicely decorated house in the centre of the pretty old town. Good beds, lot of hot water in the showers. Good sized and well equipped kitchen. Italian espresso pot for coffee. Especially the main bedroom and bathroom are beautiful and large. Easy to walk to the main attractions, safe feeling in the surroundings. Many good restaurants nearby. Big roof terrace with outdoor furnishing, views to the neighborhood. I'm sure that in the warm weather it is a lovely house, now it was cold and humid because of the weather conditions and we couldn't use the outdoor area. There are good bakeries nearby too and you can buy breakfast items, water bottles, kitchen towels, napkins and toilet paper from shops nearby. Bed sheets and bath towels included to the price. The floor was cold and looked quite dirty, so slippers needed. Wifi was very good. We didn't find any cleaning equipments, so it would be very nice to have them if you stay any longer than a weekend. Area was very tranquil in the day time, but for light sleepers it's good to know that people are passing by very late or early hours and you can here them speaking and laughing at the street.
