It’s situated on a quiet farm, not far from Piggly Wiggly. On the whole it’s clean. The hostess was very friendly. There’s a communal area with TV, refrigerator, microwave, a simple kitchen.

The beautiful scenery of mountain and wildlife while driving to the property. The cottage style and furnishings are absolutely breathtaking. The decor reflects the nature outside. In the morning you are greeted by wildlife in front of the cottage and we were able to have coffee on the stoep with deer standing on the lawn. The area offers a lot of unique dining options but should you want to you can prepare absolutely anything in the kitchen as you’ll have everything you need.

It was a great fun start to our road trip. The breakfast basket for two was enough to feed all three of us for dinner (sausages, bacon and eggs with toast) and breakfast (yoghurt, muesli etc)

Nestled in the KZN Mountains, this accommodation is truly a hidden gem with breathtaking views of the Midlands Meander. A beautiful and tastefully decorated 4 bedroom house, with spacious ensuite rooms, each with it's own bath, shower and double basins. All the rooms boast their own fireplace and sliding doors that open into the lush garden that overlooks a picturesque landscape. The house also has all the modern day comforts that makes for a most relaxing and memorable stay. We had great communication before check in, from our host, Andrew and would love to return to Wildcroft 20.

It's peaceful, very well appointed with everything we needed. Gas heater and loadshedding lights. Electric blankets and lovely bedding . All new gas appliances including a gas geyser, and a very convenient position for the main meander route. Really lovely people that own the cottages too. A great surprise was that the cottage now has its own wifi. I highly recommend this place for a chilled, down to earth home away from home farm stay experience.
