Tongeren is the most beautiful historical town, we loved and visited all of the roman history and museums and this accomodation was perfectly placed for that. The heritage of this part of town is gorgeous with walking paths and gardens, canals and roman walls. The accomodation is 3 levels on the ground floor a lovely entry to hang coats/shoes etc and a beautiful dining area over the cobblestone pathway, the kitchen is generously stocked with loads of coffee and everything you need just like you would have at home and unlike many holiday rentals. Also on the ground floor is a toilet room and large perfectly equipped laundry which we appreciated and even a separate freezer, The accomodation is modern but retains all of the charm that matches the town, the neighbourhood is very old some home displaying dates of medieval origin. The next level is the lounge area, tv and balcony and large gorgeous resort style bathroom with amazing bath and big open windows to the fresh air and the bird life. The balcony at the front of the townhouse overlooks the trees , old properties and you can people watch as you enjoy a coffee, we loved this every day. The top level is the 2 bedrooms the steps are old style, the depth of the steps is probably not enough for most feet so take care. Lovely upstairs again the loft style windows , fans available for cooling. The hosts were very generous thank you to them for making our stay special, wifi excellent. Good lighting throughout. Very quiet location. Dont miss the sunday antique fair look it up its amazing.

It was such a lovley apartment to stay in . The heating was on when we got there which made it extra cosy which was lovely of the host to do before we got there . The bathroom was a very good size included a bath and shower . The sofa bed was really ideal as I had my two children with me and they slept on there . I bought long with me two blankets anyway as we travelled by car . The kitchen was a good size . For me the cleanliness of the apartment was really fresh and clean .
