Unfortunately it was raining heavily when we arrived and when we were leaving so we could not enjoy a walk. The hosts were very polite, they were waiting for us and gave us a tour of the house, explained how to turn on the heating if needed and gave us an extra blanket. We got a bottle of wine as a gift and chocolate for the morning coffee. The only issue is that we stayed just for one night on our way home - I would spent more time there as the house and the area are really beautiful.
