Everything was spotlessly clean. Communication from the hosts was prompt and comprehensive. Recommended for a family. If you were 2 couples, the bathroom situation may be problematic (see my other notes).

The holiday homes Mein Ferienhaus Wernigerode are 600 metres from Culture & Congress Centre Wernigerode and 1 km from Wernigerode Town Hall. very close to the train station yet very calm, the outdoor space was very welcoming, comfortable as your own home. We travelled with a one year old and so the host arranged crib, towels, plastic plates and utensils for a toddler.

Harz-Chill Wernigerode is set in a charming half-timbered building located in Wernigerode. Free Wi-Fi access is available as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace facing Wernigerode Castle. The kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally lovely. Shower was really nice, especially after a day of travel. The host was also very welcoming on arrival.
