Yaya was an amazing host. He coordinated a ride from the airport, helped us get lunch upon arrival at his brother's restaurant (which was fantastic), got us tickets for the sound and light show, coordinated a tuktuk to get us around the entire stay, and organized a sunrise boat ride to Abu Simbel. He accompanied us to many of the places to ensure we got arrived and showed us where to go. Overall, Yaya made our trip to Abu Simbel memorable and easy. I would highly recommend his place and his hospitality.

This home gave us an authentic experience of homes in Aswan, with a great view overlooking the town & low dam. Our only regret was that we didn't have enough time in our tight schedule to unwind and enjoy the place to the most. Host & owner were very receptive and helpful. They assisted us for a quick tour, book train tickets onwards and more. The authentic homely breakfast cooked by locals was awesome too..

If you are not expecting 5 star hotel with all it´s hustle around, but your are more into nature, this magical place will simply capture your hearth. You can walk up the dunes behind the farm and get such a great view of Aswan or you can swim in Nile or just enjoying yourself at this charming place. Also, the food they cook here is super tasty, unless you don´t like fresh fish from the Nile or home beef from their farm… There are so many superlatives that could be written, but long reviews nobody likes to read. Just come here and experience it yourselves. Thank you guys for all your hospitality and hope to see you again soon

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

Our stay at Villa Misk was absolutely wonderful! Despite our late arrival at midnight, the owner and his son warmly welcomed us and ensured we had everything we needed. They were incredibly helpful, even assisting us in booking a transfer from Aswan Airport to the villa, which made our journey seamless. The villa itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views that feel like something out of a fairytale. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. We highly recommend Villa Misk to anyone visiting the area. A truly unforgettable stay with such kind and hospitable hosts!
