It used to be a wine cellar converted into a boutique hotel. The room is very spacious and cozy. We were the only guests there at the time so we had the whole place to ourselves. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, so don't forget to inform the staff in advance. It's only 10 euros. I highly recommend this hotel!

We have stayed one night at the Retiro del Obispo, which was excellent both in terms of room, facilities and a super communal kitchen on the top floor with terrace overlooking the vineyards. The next night we spent in the Manor House (our original booking) which is a gem in the Kalea Mayor. Extra space in a big living room, choice of toiletries, coffee maker in the room with many choices of coffee, extra thought for female guests with hair towel, lots of wardrobe space, lovely decor of the room, and bathtub. We have loved both places so much, and cherish the detail and attention Terri and her husband puts into the house as well as the organising part. Thanks to Terri we were able to visit the Bai Gorri winery and have an amaazing lunch with five of their lovely wines (they were fully booked on the internet, but she fixed it). She also helped us rent bikes that took us out in the vineyards. Her suggestion to go to Biazteri for dinner was also very helpful, we loved the food and the ambiance. It is so nice to come to a place which is as nice as in the pictures! We will definitely love to come back!
