I had the pleasure of staying at Winterfell Chalet during my last day in Mestia, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. As someone who has visited the area for the past four years and stayed in various hotels and guesthouses, I can confidently say that Winterfell Chalet is a cut above the rest. While there are certainly areas where the chalet could improve, small details and the service, I have no doubt that the team at Winterfell is dedicated to continually improving their guests' experience. And that's why I'm giving them a perfect score of 10. And most likely I will be back next year!

Nastanitev Tetnuldi River Chalet se nahaja približno 14 min hoje od znamenitosti muzej Mikhail Khergiani in nudi razgled na gore, možnost peke na žaru ter balkon. We stay here for 2 nights. We can say that it is worth coming to Mestia and staying here! The view in front of the chalet is superb! River, mountain, blue sky, and bridge are just one step out of the living room. Rooms are clean and comfy. The owner and father are helpful and kind. Thank you so much for helping us during the stay. Town can be reach by the stairs next to the chalet. It is very convenient. It is quite muddy on the road, which entries the chalet. If comes here by 4WD, there will be no problem.

The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen that made our stay comfortable and convenient. The hosting family was absolutely wonderful — kind, attentive, and provided everything we needed. n the nearby area, there are excellent attractions and beautiful spots for hiking and exploring, making it a perfect base for a relaxing and adventurous getaway.

The cottage is ideally situated just outside Martvili Canyon, allowing you to arrive early and enjoy the area before the crowds. Of all the cottages we stayed in, this was the most spacious — featuring a large living area and roomy bedrooms that comfortably accommodate up to five people. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and responsive to any request. The cottage is brand new and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

Svanieri is pure perfection — peace and tranquility at their best. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and become one with nature, the forest, the mountains, and the night sky. And the stars… what a show! When was the last time you saw the Milky Way with the naked eye? Here you’ll see millions of sparkling stars every night. By day, the mountain views are just as breathtaking — the kind that make you rethink what truly matters in life. Have you ever stood on a mountain and watched a cloud drift straight through you? Or breathed so deeply the fresh air made you feel dizzy, like a glass of fine wine? You’ll experience all that here. The cottage sits high on the mountain, about 600 meters from an authentic Svan village called Pari. It’s so secluded you can’t even see the village — just you, the mountain, and the views. The cottage is impressively spacious, with enough room for two families with kids, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The hosts also offer delicious home-cooked meals at very fair prices, made by a local grandmother. My wife literally had tears in her eyes when she tasted the homemade meat blintzes on our first day; she said it reminded her of her childhood home cooking. Outside, the yard is full of great spots: a shaded sitting area under a fruit tree, two hammocks, a swing perched on the cliff edge (perfect for photos), and a firepit to warm up on cool nights. A supermarket is just a 10-minute drive away for basic supplies.
