We had an excellent stay at this charming countryside resort. The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation – very quiet, surrounded by nature, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city but at the same time with easy access to main roads/highways. The staff were absolutely wonderful – warm and friendly,They made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Traveling with two kids, we especially appreciated how kind they were with them. They always took the time to offer them little treats like chocolate or crepes. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of both sweet and salty options to suit every taste. Everything was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The infrastructure is excellent: the pool and facilities are very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape.

Ubytovanie Volakas Beachfront Suites sa nachádza v destinácii Réthymno (mesto) 2 min. chôdze od miesta Pláž Koumbes a 1,7 km od miesta Archeologické múzeum Rethymno. The accommodation was lovely and very comfortable for our family of five. The most amazing feature though was having the beach on our doorstep. We enjoyed a couple of great BBQs with the sun setting and a beautiful view of Rethymno fortress. Good restaurants close by and also in the town which was a 10-15 minute walk.

The house itself is very clean and modern. We loved having A/C in the bedrooms and living room. The hospitality from the hosts was fantastic . They gave us home-baked muffins, wine and olive oil. They did offer to clean during the middle of our weeklong stay but we didn’t find that necessary. They also provided clean bath towels and extra garbage bags. We asked for a late check out on our last day which they readily obliged. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting. Crete itself is wonderful and so is this villa.

There is a bus station near where there is a regular bus to the airport at a low price. From Chania bus station you can take the bus to the airport and get off at Pithari stop - this is the easiest way to find the house.
