Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Traditional Stone Cottage 300 years+ bevindt zich in Galway, op 34 km van Galway Greyhound Stadium en 35 km van stadspark Eyre Square, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. Fantastic house. We were greeted by the owner Mike. There was a fire lit in the fireplace. Mike told us the wonderful history of this place and his family. I will recommend it to everyone. A wonderful place where you can feel the breath of history.

Cosy Rooms in a Stone Cottage bevindt zich in Galway, op 6,2 km van St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Superleuke host! Attent, iedere dag flesje water en zelfgemaakte taart of koeken. Bracht ons zelfs naar het centrum en haalde ons weer op. Echt superaardige man.

Plumgrove Pod Easkey ligt in Sligo, op 38 km van Yeats Memorial Building en 38 km van Sligo Abbey, en biedt uitzicht op de zee. The hosts are very kind and helpful! They gave us some recommendations. The pod is great, very clean and cosy, and has a nice view. The location is also great, close to gas station, groceries, etc. We can’t recommend it enough!

Ballylee ligt in Galway, op 42 km van Dromoland Golf Course, 43 km van Dromoland Castle, en 43 km van stadspark Eyre Square. Everything was perfect. They put a lot of detail into the house.

Lough Rynn-Lord Leitrim bevindt zich in Rivers Town en biedt gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de tuin. Very homely feel, location is ideal as well. The vicinity is quiet and tranquil. Home is kept very neat and tidy and excellent. I travelled around Ireland and this was the most homely feel amongst all my stays. Owner is also responsive when communicating and very kind to accommodate a last minute guest with reasonable additional cost. Beautiful home.

Tiernan's Luxury Accommodation is gelegen in Charlestown, op 19 km van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Knock en 20 km van Kiltimagh Museum. Stayed with a group of 10 friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The cottages were gorgeous and there was so much space for a group. It was very warm and cosy and the heat was on when we arrived. Beautiful decorated and it was located in a lovely quiet area a short drive (6-7 mins) from Charlestown where we were able to pick up a takeaway. The owners had left tea waters milk etc and the bathrooms were full with shampoos soap etc. The check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and easy to contact.

Townhouse Clifden: Located in the heart of Connemara ligt op 5,8 km van Alcock & Brown Memorial en 20 km van Kylemore Abbey, en biedt gratis WiFi en een terras. My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!
