Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

Great location as we were attending a wedding in Garryvoe hotel which was only 2 mins drive from the house. The house and room were absolutely stunning. And our host Aisling was very friendly and welcoming!
