Situated in Snæfellsbær in the West Iceland region, Nátthagi Luxury Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and lake views. This was our second time staying at Nátthagi and it did not disappoint! It is absolutely one of our favorite places to stay in Iceland. Set in a gorgeous central location, this cozy cottage is a great base for exploring all that the stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula has to offer. The Wifi is strong, the kitchen well appointed and the beds are comfy. Communication with the hosts was perfect and check in and check out very easy. Not that I wanted to check out. We were ready to move in! Looking forward to our next stay!

Eiði Farmhouse has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Grundarfjordur. The property features garden views. The rooms include a terrace with views of the lake. This is an amazing & cozy stay with views which are out of this world. Very well located in the peninsula. Rooms were spacious, kitchen was well equipped. Host was generous to let us checkin early.

Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. The host was so kind and welcomed us with hot tea after arriving in the snow! The room was very comfortable and clean. We would happily return!

Out of all the places we stayed in our 3 weeks away from home, this was our very favorite! Its location was wonderful and a great base for us to explore the peninsula. We hope that when we go to Iceland in the future, we can stay here again. The house was so inviting and comfortable. The beds were incredible! We loved walking around Stykkishólmur; the walk up to the beacon was great and the view breathtaking. We even saw the Northern Lights while there. The host was extremely attentive and responded quickly to any questions we asked. What a find, this house in Stykkishólmur!

The villa has a picnic area and a hot tub.... Property was on the way to Snaefellsjokull National Park fairly well situated for a first night stop after morning arrival in Reykjavik. No restaurants in immediate area, so either dine as you drive through Borgarnes or some place closer to the park. Beautiful views.
