Our family was very comfortable staying here. Once out on the main road, it was easy to explore the sights in the southwest region.

We loved walking around Stykkishólmur; the walk up to the beacon was great and the view breathtaking. We even saw the Northern Lights while there. The host was extremely attentive and responded quickly to any questions we asked. What a find, this house in Stykkishólmur!

No restaurants in immediate area, so either dine as you drive through Borgarnes or some place closer to the park. Beautiful views.
