This was our second time staying at Nátthagi and it did not disappoint! It is absolutely one of our favorite places to stay in Iceland. Set in a gorgeous central location, this cozy cottage is a great base for exploring all that the stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula has to offer. The Wifi is strong, the kitchen well appointed and the beds are comfy. Communication with the hosts was perfect and check in and check out very easy. Not that I wanted to check out. We were ready to move in! Looking forward to our next stay!

The villa has a picnic area and a hot tub.... Property was on the way to Snaefellsjokull National Park fairly well situated for a first night stop after morning arrival in Reykjavik. No restaurants in immediate area, so either dine as you drive through Borgarnes or some place closer to the park. Beautiful views.

Set in Grundarfjordur in the West Iceland region, Two bathrooms Free parking Beds for 9 pers Great view offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. GREAT place for the value. Four of us stayed two days. Three bedrooms, which was really nice after staying in some VERY small cramped hotel rooms. Was towards the end of the trip, so it allowed us to decompress after driving around the entire country. Important to note: Hit a very convenient grocery store early in the day. We tried to go after dinner, and it closed at 6 pm. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're going to the West Fjords (Grundarfjorour area). Also, it's not a bad drive for timing to see sites in this pensula from this location.
