Hang Loose Cottage Hotel & Resort 4 stelle Gizzeria Calabria provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. this is a real boutique hotel where you are cuddled by the staff. Each 4 star level apt is brand new with an amazing attention to the detail. Seaview is astonishing. Cool music around the pool area. The bistrot is a Michelin level restaurant where you can enjoy a wide choice of top wines and an italian nouvelle cousine that will surprise you every time. The staff is extra friendly keeping anyway professional and respectful at any time. The barman has a superior culture on any type of drink and cocktail. The sommelier always finds the perfect wine for your taste. I' ve not been bribed to provide this appraisal but I cannot tell you enough about the top quality of this structure.

The service was fantastic and they were more than happy to help with everything. The location was beautiful and offered us a nice relaxing break in the middle of a hectic holiday. So we didn’t have to leave, we ate there at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was delicious (especially the red wine). If the opportunity arises, we would definitely stay again. There’s also a tiny balcony. The bathroom is small but sufficient — it even has a hairdryer. Everything is very clean. I appreciated the sweet treats and bottle of water left in the room. The host absolutely charmed us — she’s very helpful and easy to communicate with, always ready to offer tips and assistance. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in Scilla — which tends to be pricey — this is a solid choice.

We chose an agriturismo because we like to meet locals, and have an authentic experience. And we were very happy to say that we did! Domenico was so hospitable, we spent many hours with him talking (via Google translate) about his farm, and life in general. We ate breakfast and dinner, which was cooked by Domenico. It featured products from his farm and also local cheeses and vegetables. We had some specific dietary requests, and he went out of his way to look after us. The farm is a real working farm, and the liquors that Domenico produces are so delicious! As are the salami and other products. We were a short drive from the beautiful town of Gerace, and not far from Roccella and other lovely places.

Although we did not use them, the kitchen also had a television and washing machine. The host was very friendly and helpful.
