Bare 2,5 kilometer fra Ottone-stranden ligger Agriturismo Montefabbrello, som har restaurant, et sesongåpent utendørsbasseng, en hage og en terrasse. Our room (olive) was beautiful - so calm, roomy and comfortable, with its own balcony overlooking the outdoor seating and restaurant. And easy access to the sofas on the shared balcony overlooking the pool. And of course the fabulous bath!! (Omg!) the walk-in shower is great too, and the olive shampoo, soap etc lovely touches. There are olive trees next door, fresh herbs all around and a relaxed atmosphere, complete with super laid-back cats! We also loved the wine, made on the property, which gets bought up by restaurants all over the island. There’s a shop onsite so you can buy it.

We spent 6 days in a spacy and calm apartment equipped with everything what we needed. This apartment was located at a huge property (the farm), surrounded with trees. We were in a real beautiful nature! But really close to Porto Azzurro (in a walking distance) and also all other landmarks and marvellous beaches of Elba Island were easily reachable by car. The whole property was fenced and safe (we could park our car directly in front of our apartment in a shade). The owner and his wife were so kind, friendly and hospitable! They gave us so tasty vegetable and fruit and were ready for our potential needs. Their dog was so good and well behaved. Our dog loved this place. We could use the outside grill – it was perfect! We enjoyed our stay there a lot. We can really recommend this accommodation to everybody!

The location is perfect, just 4 minutes by motorbike to the centre (marina with beautiful views!) but also easily walkable if you’re heading out for dinner and a glass of wine. Francesca is a lovely lady! Warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge. She gave us plenty of great recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. The bedroom was very spacious and located in a quiet, peaceful area, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. We highly recommend this place! Thank you so much, Francesca, for having us!

The host is wonderful and sends many recommendations for local treats. Even though we visited during the off season (many stores are closed), Il Polpo Blu was the perfect place to enjoy a quiet get-away.
