A lovely experience that makes you feel like a true countryside local. The host made sure we stopped to get groceries at the local Supermarket, and offered us a ride from the nearby Train station. Tatami floors and shoji screen walls make this place feel full of Japanese tradition. A cozy nearby onsen (with snacks and drinks!) and small friendly bakery nearby really make this place feel special. I would love to come back next time I need a quiet escape from the city life.

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

A beautifully renovated machiya that balances heritage and modern comfort with great care. The handmade wooden furniture adds warmth and character, and the modern facilities are seamlessly integrated. I particularly enjoyed the CD player — a small, thoughtful detail that really suited the atmosphere. The courtyard is quiet and well considered, bringing light and calm into the space.

Panda Stay Okayama ligger i Okayama, og tilbyr gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering, bare under 1 kilometer unna Shimoishii Park. The host met me personally to pass me the keys, it was a nice and friendly touch. The place is not big but very comfortable, and we could also do our laundry! My personal favourite was the bed, it was SUPER comfortable, I had a really good sleep. My kids were enamoured by the thoughtful panda decorations throughout the house.

She was attentive and made sure that my family and I were comfortable during our stay. She even handled arranging Yamato for our luggages once we checked out! Highly recommend staying here if you are planning an overnight stay on the island!

Super cute house and calm/quiet area! The house is clean and in general “high standards”. The communication between host is super, fast answer and super helpful if needed.

The Standard Inn Onomichi-Ikuchijima ligger i Onomichi, 22 kilometer fra Saikon-ji Temple, og tilbyr adgang til boblebad. We loved the house - beautifully designed, very comfortable. Nice views of the sea and bordered by fruit trees. Nice mix of Japanese and modern/Scandinavian design. Highly recommend, especially if traveling as a couple.
