Hittori-San is a very kind landlord and took his time to talk about the rich history of this house and the changes his ancestors had to go through during the Meji-Restauration. The interior is kept as traditional as possible with modern confy additions as the restroom and the shower.

The host was really friendly, and picked us up from the station and drove us to the accommodation, making our arrival easy and stress free. We each received a bag of toiletries/amenities, which was a nice touch. The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The location was just a few minutes walk to the samurai district and a quick walk into town.

A recently renovated property, Ichirin Kanazawa is situated in Kanazawa near Kenrokuen Garden, Myoryuji - Ninja Temple and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art. A beautiful house in a quiet part of town. We loved the amenities; the house is renovated, has a certain charm, and is very nice and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
