I will definitely come back here if I will come again to Osaka! :) If you bring big luggage from Abeno Station, please use exit 6 as it has elevator :)

The hotel is also just a few minutes walk away from the Marutamachi underground station. The hotel staff were attentive, warm and very helpful. Staying here made me feel completely at home. The apartment is well maintained and captures the traditional features beautifully. The lounge is also a great place to unwind and fuel after a busy day of sightseeing with the variety of snacks they offer. Would definitely coming back to stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

This place is stunning and spacious - it includes a gorgeous living room downstairs as well as the kitchen and bathroom. There is another seating area upstairs and the bedroom. It is also in the traditional Japanese style, which we love! The highlights for us though were two parts: First, the host is incredible! You cannot drive up to the house because the last road is too steep so he showed us where to park near the base and then drove us up in his bigger car. (He kindly did this again in the morning when we left, even though we had to leave very early!) Second, the view is incredible! It was a stunning way to start the day. Our only regret is we wish we'd stayed longer :)

If you want to explore rural Japan, this small village and the traditional apartment are the best choices.
