Nice modern recently renovated property with local vibe but also including all western amenities. This is really like a hybrid accommodation between Japanese ryokan and EU house style. The staff was very responsive, helpful and supportive.

Rinn Shiki Juraku provides accommodation located 1.7 km from the centre of Kyoto and offers a bar and a shared lounge. Lovely townhouse. Booked no. 10, Family of four . Two teenagers. Two storied traditional house. Ground floor has kitchenette, four seater table and a separate tatami room on ground floor . Shower, tub and a separate toilet on ground floor. Comfortable stairs to the top leads to two bedrooms, one room with futon and other with a double bed. There is a toilet on the first floor too. All areas of the houee are very spacious. The staff are lovely and helpful. The common room has drinks and small eats all through the day. A coin laundry is near common area. We used taxi to get to most areas. But the public transport options are doable. The property exceeded my expectations and photos are as actuals. Good noiseless sleep quality. There are Family mart and Fresco department store in walking distance.

Located in Ine, 16 km from Manai Shrine and 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine, 舟宿 壱 provides sea views and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from Daijyouji Temple. Very beautiful old style Japanese local house but mixed with modern style. An entire house is fabulous with the view and place. Nice free space for living room and table tennis. The relaxing space next to the sea is very good vibe. The staff is very helpful to explain everything in the house, provide the house tour and help to manage dinner and breakfast.

Set 1.3 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum and 1.5 km from Nijo Castle in the centre of Kyoto, Corner6 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very clean property in a nice neighborhood.

Situated in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Nijo Castle and 500 metres from the centre, 谷町君 星屋 神泉ノ宿 二条城 features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. The location was great. It is near 3 train stations Shijo-Omiya, Nijo station and Nijojo-mae station (all under 1KM walk). Shinsenen-mae bus stop is only 100m away. There are many nice eateries around with many large supermarkets, LIFE at Nijo station, Seiyu Sanjo (300m) away as well as Fresco (300m) away. The apartment is also sparkly clean and new unlike some of the comments from the past. The staff at the counter were great and super responsive. There is a folder on the instructions to operate the appliances in the apartment. The coffee capsules given were superb, better than some of those stall bought coffee. We checked in in the evening and was able to enter the apartment without any help. The management sent a detailed video on how to operate the digital key lock prior to check in. The pricing of this apartment was pricey but worth every penny. Will certainly recommend to our friends and family!

Guest house Daikoku - Vacation STAY 97010v is set in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, 1.2 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.4 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.5 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference... Host is very kind and helpful person. Very welcoming, and was there to say goodbye to us as well. Flat is bigger than any that we stayed in Japan, 2 separate rooms in opposite sides of the apartment with middle part being living room and the kitchen. It definitely exceeded our expectations as family, and was worth the price.

A wonderful stay in a very special house located in a quiet neighborhood, near the railway station and just a 5-minute walk from a shopping mall. The host provided lots of helpful information we hadn’t received in other hotels in Japan. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, and the small indoor garden is spectacular. Highly recommended!
