Zenji 町家六堀 se nalazi na atraktivnoj lokaciji u centru odredišta ‘Kyoto’ i ima vrt. Ova vila nudi smještaj s balkonom i besplatnim WiFi-jem. The accommodation was very well-furnished and organised. Check-in was simple and easy, and there was a guide book to help orientate us. Cabinets were clearly labelled so we had no trouble locating the items we needed. During our time in Kyoto it rained a fair bit and we were very thankful there were umbrellas we could use. We were able to do our laundry as there was a washer and dryer. There were ample power sockets located around the property and the light switches were very well planned with 2-way switches for the foyer, dining area and staircase. Nao, the owner of the property, very kindly assisted me in booking a taxi to the airport when I encountered difficulty trying to do it myself.

Everything was perfect: beautiful design, high-quality materials and attention to detail – even the tableware was wonderful! The apartment is very well equipped and located close to the sea in a charming traditional village. The hosts were very friendly, and communication was always quick and smooth. It’s a pity we could only stay for one night – we would love to come back soon!

Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Location is everything with this property, which is a beautifully renovated funaya right on the water in Ine fishing village. It's self catering accommodation and we hadn't made any reservations at the small number of local restaurants. However, we found a lovely place right across the road from our house. Our room overlooked the water and despite the wet weather the views were amazing. Our host also arranged a private boat tour of the bay for us, which picked us up from our own jetty! A magical stay. Highly recommend.
