It was spacious and the highlight for us was the projector to watch movies late into the night.

The living environment and overall facilities (e.g., bath area, common space) were very homely, and brought back memories of staying with my Japanese host family almost a decade back. Other guests were extremely kind and considerate too! Amazing area — close by a beautiful shrine, the lake, and amazing eateries and cafes.

The location is peaceful, right on the edge of a quiet lake, and conveniently close to scenic viewpoints, restaurants, and even a 7-Eleven. Sleeping on traditional Japanese futons was a unique experience—they were warm and very comfortable. Waking up to the stunning view of Mount Fuji was absolutely unforgettable.
