The place is an amazing victorian house very near to the city center. It had everything to make a confortable good stay, plus the house is amazingly decorated in and outside. From the first day, the attention by Madusanka was outstanding and he has been very helpful with us. Totally would recommend to come to this place.

Ubytovanie Cabin 7000 feet Nuwaraeliya sa nachádza v destinácii Nuwara Eliya 8,1 km od miesta Jazero Gregory. The location of this cabin is quite far from the main town, but for good reason, as the view from up here is amazing! When we arrived at the cabin, Roshan our host, was there to welcome us and show us the beautiful cabin space. Two rooms with king sized beds, and at the attic there were another two king sized beds. In total, it was possible to sleep 8 people. Needless to say, it was so spacious and comfortable for my group of 3. As we were hungry by the time we reached the cabin, Roshan offered to order food delivery for us and we all had some chicken rice with vegetables for our dinner which was great after a long day of traveling by car. The cabin space has very accessible balconies where you can watch the sunrise from, and at the attic you could even watch them from the bed or sofa if you wished. There are staircases to climb here, but the team was able to help us with our luggage no problem. The whole space is quite self contained, with a working kitchen, hot water in the bathroom, and enough blankets to keep us warm throughout the night. We also had a very tasty breakfast and they were able to accommodate to my diet (gluten free and dairy free). We also had fresh flowers in every room, which is a beautiful touch! All in all I would highly recommend this hotel because it is a unique spot located at a secluded location which gives you privacy, and amazing views.

This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

The photos online simply do not do justice to how stunning the property is in reality—the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings, the lush gardens, and that charming old-world elegance seamlessly blended with all modern comforts. Despite delays in our check-in due to heavy rains, the staff were patiently waiting for us with warm smiles. From the very first moment, they made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. Every member of the team was humble, polite, and incredibly respectful. A special shoutout to Laxman, who took care of us throughout our stay. His attentiveness and kindness truly made a difference. We also travelled with our 5-year-old, who is quite picky with food, yet the kitchen staff went out of their way to prepare dishes he would enjoy. This level of personal care was deeply appreciated. The food was exceptional—far beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend opting for half board or full board, because every meal was a delight. We stayed for four days and honestly wished we had booked even more. Oliphant was the standout stay of our entire Sri Lanka trip. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, lovely heritage charm, and world-class hospitality make it a place we would return to without a second thought. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya—Oliphant Boutique Villa is an experience you won’t forget!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our villa was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent.
