This area SL low key not all built up, quieter! The great breezes make it kite surfers paradise, and the breezes make the huge covered porch a nice place to hang out.. The family that manages very helpful, content & beautiful. They make good food, and help arrange local needs. The first night I stayed in budget room, but then upgraded for 2 nights to the larger cabana because it has better cross ventilation & surfaces to put things on. Both size rooms have your own porch with cushioned seating. Neither rooms have a/c but you don't need it with the good breezes & room fans.

The villa is very spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The facilities are excellent—everything from the microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, to the PEO TV connection made our stay even more convenient. The washroom was perfect, and the beds were super comfortable, giving us great rest every night. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying experience, and we highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay in Marawila!

One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

This place is perfectly located within walking distance of the Holy Cross Shrine. It was absolutely amazing — featuring four comfortable rooms, delicious food, and a perfect pool to unwind. Everything was excellent, and everyone was very happy. The owner was wonderful, personally checking in during our stay to ensure everything was okay, and Herath was always available to assist with anything we needed. We would definitely love to make another trip here again.

It was tiny but comfortable accomodation with carefully maintained facilities, the host do not worry to help you going extra mile. The place is beautiful with little bit of landscaping. We spent a few wonderful days at Twin Waters, hosted by Andrew, and the experience was simply magical. Nestled between the river and the sea—less than 100 meters apart—the place is a true haven of peace, surrounded by stunning nature. The nearby village offers an authentic glimpse of local life: fishermen, unpaved streets, children’s dance classes, a small church… And just 2 km away, the bird sanctuary is a true gem for nature lovers. Starting at 6 a.m., the sky comes alive with the graceful flight of beautiful birds—an unforgettable sight. The chalets are well spaced out, offering total privacy. The meals, both Sri Lankan and European-inspired, are delicious and lovingly prepared by Andrew’s attentive team. The staff are incredibly caring, and the fellow guests we met were warm and inspiring, adding even more magic to the stay. A true hidden gem, a timeless escape. Without hesitation: 10/10.

Absolutely stunning property with a beautiful beachside location, the outside shower areas are fabulous .Staff are amazingly caring, the food is also delicious. Felt like royalty! People of Sri Lanka are warm and friendly. Local diving in Kalpitiya is a must. Hired a tuk tuk for a true Sri Lankan experience. Wildlife at the house is truly incredible, so many birds and other creatures.Thank you Sisira, Indrani and Rokshan! The driver Serangha is caring polite and amazing too! 100% recommended.
