The washroom was perfect, and the beds were super comfortable, giving us great rest every night. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying experience, and we highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay in Marawila!

Wow, what a little gem this place is. Highly recommend letting the Wildhideaway team look after you while you visit Wilpattu National Park. The suite was very spacious even for a family of 4. The bathroom was huge and modern with a nice hot water shower. The plunge pool was delightful, so refreshing. Location was so quiet and the air conditioner worked perfectly so made for very comfortable sleep. They arranged our full day safari at a good price, we didn’t need to do anything but turn up. They packed breakfast and lunch for us and then had dinner ready when we came home! The thing that made this place so special was the warm and friendly service from Anta and his team. Always there with a huge smile, making us feel so welcome, and the food they made for us (as vegetarians) was SO delicious, the best we’ve had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.

Sulashika Beach House is gelegen in Kandakuli, op 4 minuten lopen van Strand Kandakuliya en 400 meter van Strand van Kudawa, en biedt een tuin en uitzicht op de tuin. Sulashika Beach House, een pareltje, superdicht bij zee, max. 20 stappen lopen. Met eigen keuken. En via een hek afgesloten. Alles was superschoon en heerlijk rustig.. Een vrijstaand huisje en dat superdicht aan zee. Onze huurauto konden we veilig buiten de poort van het huisje parkeren. De eigenaren verwelkomden ons vriendelijk en lieten ons van alles zien. De voortuin is mooi aangelegd met diverse bomen. Er is een groot overdekt terras met houten eettafel en 4 stoelen. En er is nog een ander zitje met 2 gemakkelijke plastic stoelen (met een kussen in je rug kon je daar heerlijk in zitten) en een tafeltje. Als je het huisje binnenkomt, komt je in de slaapkamer, met prima bedden, airco en ventilator. daar staat ook een tafel met stoel. Tegenover de slaapkamer is de badkamer met lichtgroen sanitair (wastafel en wc) en regendouche. Alles werkte prima. In de keuken is een ruim aanrecht, een gastoestel en een koelkast. Ook niet helemaal mijn smaak, maar ziet er prima uit en is modern genoeg. Met mijn knoflookallergie kook ik het liefste zelf. Het vrijstaande huisje staat op slechts 20 stappen van het strand, de zee. Je loop langs een restaurantje. Aan het stand zelf zijn geen ligstoelen. Wel een prachtig uitzicht. je moet 3 meter naar beneden om op het strand of zee te komen Er is geen direct trapje, maar als je even om je heen kijkt, zie je dat je gemakkelijk op het strand kunt komen. En weer omhoog. 's Morgens hebben we de plastic stoelen en plastic tafel meegenomen en aan de rand van het strand gezet, dus op het "weggetje" er naar toe. En hebben daar ontbeten. Super, wat een uitzicht en rust! Spullen weer netjes schoongemaakt mee terug genomen naar het huisje. Voor het huisje, aan de zeekant, is ook nog een restaurantje waar je iets kunt drinken, eten of relaxen. Lieve en behulpzame eigenaren. Wifi was gratis.

Twin Waters Resort ligt in Chilaw en biedt gratis WiFi en een buitenzwembad. Bij de accommodatie is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid beschikbaar. De service was echt geweldig. Er werd ontzettend goed met ons meegedacht om het voor ons en onze kleine kinderen zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken.

What a delightful place to have spent the last 7 days on our first visit to this tropical island of Sri Lanka! The serenity, tranquility and natural beauty of Khomba House is breathtaking. The vast lush beautifully landscaped property .. the palm and other trees, the well maintained gardens, the koi pond is a nice touch, the sound of the ocean, the wide variety of birds singing and squawking including the majestic peacocks with their long brilliant tail feathers.. .. all of this just steps away from a quiet stretch of beach looking out into the Indian Ocean. This well appointed rustic styled home completely embraces nature. We were welcomed with the warm hospitality of Sisira, Indrani and Rocksan who were there to fulfill and absolutely anticipated our every need. Sisira coordinated everything and great at his job. He was also very protective of us throughout our stay. When he helped us hire a Tuk Tuk taxi he checked with the driver during our outing until we arrived back at the house! Then he was there with a flashlight to guide inside. And he was like that for our entire stay. Indrani nourished us daily with an abundance of wonderfully prepared local dishes. It was always more food than we could eat and we tried our best to eat as much as possible so she would not be disappointed. Rocksan’s daily routine of cleaning our accommodations was very much appreciated.. everything was always kept very fresh; he was always busy in the background sweeping or in the garden and opening or closing the doors and windows at the right times of the day. At sundown when the mosquitoes started to make an appearance Rocksan made sure to light the repellent which I appreciated since they LOVE me! I also loved the fresh flowers throughout the house.
