It was cold for my wife and they quicly collected wood and helped us light a fire. They even gave her a tracksuit to keep her warm. The surrounding nature is absolutely magnificent.

You can watch all the stars in the sky at night and hear the peace of the river and the sound of the fire all day. It is a beautiful setting, surrounded by hills and little lakes you can walk to! The hosts are very kind and can provide you meals for an extra cost. It is held by two brothers and their parents, the parents don’t speak English so that made it complicated sometimes, however I thought it added to the charm and authenticity. There was also wifi so you could ask the brothers for help if they were not there. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful stay without too many tourists.

A wonderful house: clean, cozy, with a great view and a terrace, a well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, and a comfortable hot shower. Everything here is absolutely perfect for guests’ comfort — we spent four amazing days! We went hiking in the surrounding area and visited national parks: Biogradska Gora, Komovi, and Prokletije. Special mention goes to the exceptional hospitality of the hosts: there was water, tea, coffee, honey, and a huge plate of mandarins and apples in the kitchen. When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit, and we were welcomed with prosciutto and cheese. On the evening before our departure, hosts brought us a wonderful dinner — fried trout and apple pie. We have never experienced such care for guests in Montenegro before! Thank you so much — we’ll be happy to come back!

Location is great, be ready there is very poor mobile internet but WiFi is great and suitable for work. Lovely nature outside, pure air and a creek behind the house. The house is very new and cozy, fully equipped with everything you need including toothbrushes and bbq coal. There is a big fireplace in the center of the room. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Located in Berane, Koliba Simonović-Šiško jezero provides accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. It was exactly as I expected. The place is isolated, quiet, the hosts were beyond my expectations, considering that I come from a tourist town and I've seen enough of everything. Keep in mind that it's 1700m above sea level. Don't expect luxuries like electricity and internet. For that, go to a hotel in town. The place is exclusively for those who want to experience life in nature, with good food and clean air, without the everyday habits we have, like chatting and watching stupid shows on TV. Bring solar chargers if you need your phone to navigate in nature, because you have somewhere to walk, I recommend Gaia. In addition to tourism, people are producers of organic food, so besides the excellent culinary knowledge of the hostess with organic food, it is unnecessary to give any ratings on the quality of the dishes. Just one thing...be sure to agree on how to get there, the host is open to all options, don't try to plan your own route. The maps that are available aren't very reliable, so let the host guide you through everything.
