We liked the location as we wanted to stay far away from crowd and big hotels. It was perfect, as very quiet and close to the east side of Cozumel that is the best. And the breakfests were amazing. Absolutely beautiful little home off the beaten track in a pretty quiet town (El Cedral). It's very easy to get around the island if you have a car. The host Manuel was really lovely and shared a lot of local info with us, and told us all about the birds and wildlife that visit the garden. The hibiscus by the pool was full of hummingbirds and bananaquits, it felt like a slice of paradise. Clean, comfortable and cool.

We loved the pool for the kids. My kids are ages 2 & 4 and they loved the pool so much. They also enjoyed the little playground area. I loved that the whole place was gated and fenced in. My kids could run around unattended and I felt really comfortable with that. It also had 3 houses so it was perfect for a small group of friends or family. They also had pans, pots, plates, bowls, and all extra kitchen utensils you would need to use. We didn't have to buy anything and that was a plus coming from a different country.

Watch out for changes of elevation between rooms ie steps up or down.

We had a very nice stay at Mima‘s Village, a place little outside of the main tourist spots with a great view in the sundowner. Some people came to that beach place just for this. Short walks to beach clubs for snorkeling or food. Recommended to have a scooter or jeep to come around. Small issues on the first day (shower/air condition) were immediately fixed by friendly host Memo. Free purified water in the room. Best value for price in Cozumel!
